Partial dentures are used when one or more natural teeth remain in the upper or lower jaw.

Partial dentures are customised to a patient’s specific requirements in order to restore a person’s natural appearance and greatly improve the ability to chew and speak clearly.

A removable partial denture consists of replacement teeth attached to a gum-coloured acrylic base, which is connected by a metal framework that holds the denture in place.

Natural teeth are not harmed with the use of partial dentures, in fact, they help maintain the position of your natural teeth by providing them with additional support.

Partials can be made of different materials, including cast metal partial dentures and acrylic partial dentures. The cast metal partial denture is usually a more rigid and permanent style of denture that offers great strength and stability as well as support for the remaining teeth. The metal is a highly compatible cobalt chromium alloy which is ultra-thin and light.
